But our mission goes beyond the café itself. At Cream + Sugar, we aim to transform the business landscape of African American communities by fostering love, inclusion, and creativity. We are passionate about enhancing the local business district and leading by example, showing the next generation that thriving, Black-owned businesses are not just possible, they’re essential. To that end, we have developed COLLECTIVE VESSEL an entrepreneurship training and workforce development program to teach and inspire our youth, empowering them to dream boldly and pursue their goals with confidence.
